Why would I get banned from a tracker? What did I ever do to it?

You may be banned from a tracker for sharing illicit materials on it, sharing files that the tracker does not allow, or for leeching from it. This is not to be confused with a “leecher”. Leeching is the act of downloading a file from a BT Source and upon completion of the download, the culprit proceeds to close down the BT Client window immediately. It is an unspoken/spoken rule amongst the BT communities that BT users should do their very best to upload at least as much Megabytes [MB] as they have downloaded. You can see how much you’ve uploaded and downloaded using Burst! or BT Experiemntal, and upon completion your client will continue to upload to others as long as the window remains open. So, please, leave your windows open for as long as possible after completing a download…someone helped you get your file, help someone else get there’s. That's what makes BT communities work so well...so please return the favour.
